Build-A-Bear has a new deal to woo shoppers after 'Pay Your Age Day' ended in chaos

Build-A-Bear is back with a new deal, but this time, it's acting with a bit more caution. The stuffed-toy store has launched a new program called "Count Your Candles," where customers can come in to build a bear during their birthday month and only pay the amount of their age. The bear that's part of the offer usually costs $14. China Stops Importing Taiwans Mangoes, Blaming Pests Amid Political Tensions

China suspended imports of Taiwan mangoes, saying mealybug pests were found in the fruit, in a possible example of “fruit diplomacy” amid heightened tensions between the two near neighbors. The suspension is effective Monday, and China’s General Administration of Customs has asked Taiwan to improve its quarantine management mechanism, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said in a statement.
